Hello folks, haven't posted much about the silly setter lately,so thought would take a few pics and see how you all think he's looking.
I am pleased with his weight, but then TBH have never had a problem keeping a setter trim, they're too lively to be fat lol
Not the best pics to see condition, sorry but my camera is rather old now and I am rubbish at taking pics!!
I do wish his coat would grow a bit fuller, but I think I am being impatient as he not quite a year old yet (will be 1 in may),and although I can't remember for sure at what age my other setters got full coats I think maybe it was aorund 2yrs??
He's bonkers as only setters can be,but great fun most of the time (frustrating as hell the rest of it!!),and everbody's friend whether they want him to be or not lol.
At home after a brush
This is him 'talking' to me,muppet lol
In our local 'dog park',is a great place bought and improved by the parish coucil as a community meadow, but mainly geared up for and used by dog walkers.Even better is just couple hundred yards from where I live!!
On the footbridge that they kindly put in to go over the worst of the boggy bits!!
Found a lost ball!! He has a real nose for lost balls, but only other dogs, can never seem to find his own!!
Had to laugh at this one, kind of ironic where he cocks his leg,not as daft as people think maybe lol
Can anyone spot my hossies in the next field?? They are there somewhere in the distance lol,the zoom on my camera is not great I'm afraid.
As my land is so low lying and boggy, these are the other residents of my field.Alf loves to 'play' with these when he is down at the horse field with me,they are not so amused with his games as he is sadly,so he get's chased off and hissed at a lot lol
Panning back around to the dog walking field and here is Alf partaking in one of his most loved activities, digging!! Oh how I hate this 'hobby' of his, holes in the garden and muddy paws and nose, lovely!!
Sorry there are loads, though as was uploading may as well make it worth the effort!!
Hope you like and any comments on the ginger ninja welcome,as long as they are nice ones of course
