I'm sure there must be someone on here that can help - I dont know what would need to be done, but I'd love to help in any way I could, what a brave girl!

Surely, we must be able to assist with this?

I don't know about a regional show, but why don't we see what we can do about raising some money for the Anthony Nolan Trust or similar? I'm thinking online dog show here! I would be up for looking into the mechanics of such a thing, and perhaps if we asked Alice might be willing to be one of the judges? It's just an idea, of course she might not want to which would be fine... but as a fundraiser, what do we think?
 
Re - the picture I am a photographer and could orginise this probs, where is she ?

The dog show, surely if we all got together and found a venue we could do this. There are loads of people with dogs on here

No idea where that place is but I have sat nav a car and a naughty lab cross. Give me a date and we'll be there. Happy to take a turn doing entries or something but not mega dog knowledgeable.
 
B**ger, the NW Labrador Club show was last Sunday.:mad: I wonder what she means by regional show, if she means a pure breed show then us lot turning up wouldn't really fit the bill. Did you tell the labrador club you emailed why you were asking, maybe they could help find something.
 
I have already said through facebook that the labrador showing thing is easy peasy would help more but she is so far away. As long as the dog is KC registered then it can be shown anywhere, not sure what she means by regional show but she can take it to a champ show, just needs some handling guidance which is easy enough, but need someone nearby to do that and help her with entries.
 
cotswold and wyvern lab club have a show on 6th july, entries still open if she wants a breed specific show.
 
There's also the one : To swim with sharks.
That's expensive but easily done in the UK as the BluePlanet aquarium does that, you go in their biggest tank and swim with many different types of fish and sharks. But it is expensive :(
 
Thanks MM that was so heartwarming to read that , what an inspirational young girl.

My nephew had this awful disease but happily he was one of the lucky ones who survived it.
 
Looking on her blog and reading her bucket list, it has the word 'DONE' next to taking her lab to a show, also next to the swimming with sharks. So I am taking it as she has done it already? Not sure if I have that right though. :)
