Hi all,
just thought i'd post to ask about all your neddies, am wondering how old, heights, types and what you do with them/level of comps etc.

mine is Henry aka Honk kong fuey 16.2hh ISH 5yo just doing local stuff ready to do BE intro next season.

Boris 17hh Dutch strawberry roan gelding. Only just started sharing him so not competing at the mo although he is ex grade A showjumper.

Murphy: 14.1hh 8 yr old Fell/Dales hairy type thing, black with a MASSIVE mane and tail. We charge around in the school, ocassionally attempt tiny jumps, and go for hacks. He's a safe, friendly, cuddly pony!

Maiden is a 15.3hh 11yo grey ID x mare. We used to do unaff prelim dressage and were working our way up to some 2'3" SJ and XC to aim for a PC ODE. However she tore her tendon in February and is now being a lazy fat bum in a field until April! Then she'll hopefully come back into work and be loaned out to someone to make them a fantastic happy hack and confidence giver.
Cookie is my share horse, he's round about 16-16.2hh (have never measured him, he's probably 16hh but looks bigger!), he's a grey 13yo Dutch-bred warmblood type gelding (he has a brand but we've been unable to trace it so far). He does affiliated novice dressage with his owner, and with me we're about to start doing unaffilliated SJing, I've just entered my first competition at 2'6" and I'm a bit scared! He is ex-grade A BSJA though so is capable of looking after me round tiny 2'6"!

Charlie, 15hh 19 yr old anglo arabXwelsh. Who does a bit of everything, competing wise does ODE's, show jumping and x country up to about 3ft at local level and also a bit of local showing. He also has navicular and cushings.
Millie, 16hh 15 yr old cleveland bayX tb. My sisters horse, who she does a bit of everything but mainly showjumping.
Willow, 13.1hh 15 yr old new forestXwelsh. Just brought him back, our old pony, doesn't really compete now but a little girl comes down to ride him. Used to compete in everything but mainly sj up to about 3ft courses

I've also just started to ride a lovely neddy, not mine but she deserves to be on here cos she's lovely. Piper, a 17.2hh warmblood. Amazing jump and does lateral work on the flat with ease. Hope to do a little bit of competing and ODE's next year

i ride a horse called Frankie, he's a 16.2hh (ish) piebald warmblood x thoroughbred. because of his colouring i think theres some cob in him somewhere! he has two blue eyes, a pink muzzle and one side of his face is black and the other is white - and the eye on that side is pink! so he can get sunburnt!

at the moment im just hacking out and schooling (including lungeing) about 4 or 5 times a week. id like to do some rising club stuff with him as he is more than capable, but im finding it difficult because he isnt mine and the owners are just happy with me riding him at the moment, they have no aspirations for him!

My lot:
Max - 2yo Welsh Sec A. Was a rescue and a rig (now gelded). A royal pain in the butt, good at escaping and is obsessed with eating. Just starting to do some breaking in work with him and may put him up for sale soon.
Flash - 2yo Welsh Sec C/D. Also a rescue rig (now gelded). Lovely pony, but still slightly nervous. Also starting to do some work with him. He has previously jumped a 5 bar gate. Will probably keep him for at least another year, was going to sell but now have a Tb lami horse that is going to need company for forseeable future.
The Cheekster - 7yo TB. Has run in 2 bumpers and is half fit prior to going hurdling. Has allergy problems (sweat/pollen/dust) and is just recovering from bad kidneys.
Argy Bargy - 5yo TB. Will hopefully run in point to points this season if I can get his attitude under control. Has problems with sarcoids, and work.

I have a 15.3hh bay Hanoverian mare, 13yo, on loan who I'm hoping is going to show me the ropes SJing. Had her about 3 weeks now. She's v opinionated, v stroppy, and an absolute sweetheart.

Also have a 14.2hh Welsh D gelding who's out on loan. Done a bit of everything with him in the 3.5 years I've had him, his favourite thing to do is hunt and fun rides.

Oscar is a 10yo bay Heinz 57 (possibly ID x but we arent sure) and hes 17.1hh and my sister and I have owned him for 2 years now. Just recovering from a torn crucicat ligament so slowly coming back to fitness but by aim is to do working hunter, showing and a bit of dressage and my mate will hopefully jump him coz Im too scared

Mishky - 17.3 Vladimir Russian heavy draft horse, 16 years Semi retired happy hacker and pet
Ella - 17 hh Clydesdale x. 8 years. Happy hacker and pet
Tilly - 14.1 coloured cob. 4 years. Hand reared as a foal, really should sell her, but can't bear to part with her - must back her soon.
Ljufur - 14hh Icelandic. 20 years. Retired due to Cushings Disease. Happy pet.
Flint. 36 inch shetland. Pet for granddaughters to cuddle and sit on.
Charlie. 32 inch Falabella x shetland. Pet and Flint's best friend.

i have Taz - 16:3h 13 years old ID/TB black gelding, had him for 3 years, - we hunt, unaffil dressage prelim&novice, SJ, XC hacks, etc - hoping to start BE next season
Bramble 14;2h 12 year old bay mare , had her for 7 years, did all pony club with her, lots of sj, XC little bit BSJA, lots of hacking etc , going to put her in foal next year (yay!!)

i have Galaxy- 13.2hh liver chestnut new forest gelding, he was 6 in june and i have been ridinghim since he was approx 3 1/2y. Bought him just over a year ago (had in on loan until then). We just concentrate on having fun. She is quite a flashy boy (is a bitof a rig i think) and could potentially do quite well in dressage (so my instructor told me) but i would feel a bit silly going to a comp as the 25y old woman on a 13.2hh pony.

But love him to pieces and he has a home for life

Chloe is a shire x clydesdale 15.2hh 15 yrs old. She's my mum's ultra safe happy hack, and I do dressage with her. She's only done RC prelim competitions, but is working at novice/elementary level at home.

Megan is my cleveland bay x welsh heinz 57. She's 16hh and is either 6 or 7. She currently does a bit of everything (slowly!) at local level
