Years ago, my vet told me the worst mistake people make with injured or arthritic animals was to stop all exercise when muscle should be built to support the affected area. I know little about this case, but I think f the be said do it, then fine.
 
What you are attempting to say to me is exactly what everyone has been saying to you... for years! You were the one who continued to ride a clearly unhappy horse, in increasingly strong bits, and refused to listen to anyone as you felt you knew better. You are the one who has had previous 'holidays' for being abusive to other posters. You are the one who has repeatedly lied about your results and even posted dressage sheets which weren't actually yours!

Exactly. You've both been given 'advice' which you've both disregarded until something happened and then you both realised something was wrong. I enjoy reading about both of your horses and I'm glad that both of you saw the light eventually :)

Armas is a very nice horse. I think he has the mind which would keep him going even if he was on 3 legs. Your vet has given you a riding plan J and it sounds like you are following it. That's not how I would deal with SI issues but Armas is not my horse so I wish him and you well.

Don't want to make any enemies on my second day on HHO, but I feel quite bad for Armas that his thread has been completely taken over! Is this a regular occurrence here? :s every other place i've been, this isn't something that is done.
 
Agh, just trying to diffuse a situation. They both have friends who care about both of them equally. Everyone "knows" each other well enough here... Just like you'd step in if your brothers were brawling right?

Fair enough, just not something i'm accustomed to through other forums. It's kind of a big 'no-no' to hijack someone's thread on the other forums I frequent :o
