Do you think there is anyone talented out there looking for horses that would pay upkeep, entries etc?

I have a very talented horse who wasnt bold enough to event but could go very far as a showjumper..

I think it reads that the talented rider would take on the up keep and costs so someone who has lots of ability but not the funds to buy a top horse. ?? Could be wrong but that was my interpretation.

I don't think anyone REALLY talented would, as they would probably expect the owner to pay for it. However, someone like me - an amateur but with a bit of experience, looking for another ride, might be happy to just "loan" a good horse.

I think you are more likely to get an amateur, unless the horse is SERIOUSLY talented, then you might get a pro, but if you find the right person you might get lucky

All i will say is be very careful. I was in a situation where i loaned a very good horse out, nothing else i could do, horse has just come back to me a complete wreck to say the least. People aren't always what they seem.

could this be something that your interested in but has to be able to be at my yard.

Looking to uni/long term loan a showjumper, atleast competing 1m+.
15.3 - 17.1hh, any breed (not full TB) sex/age, however I want to compete, so not something that is at the end of its career.

Ridden to advanced medium and will sit on anything but would rather just have something with more experience so I can enjoy competing now. Have owned my own horses. I am a experienced and sensitive rider, 5'7 and weighing 8 stone 10, would take something with a couple quirks however would like it to be able to hack also sane and physically correct. Train with Chris Haywood, Who is trained by top rider Yogi Breisner.

Based in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. On a BHS approved livery yard of about 30 horses, that I have been on for over 8 years. Large airy 12x15 american barn stables, individual turnout + all facilities, 5* care. (I'm on DIY) vetting available.

loan minimum of a year, 3 year uni loan would be ideal, and could keep horse ticking over and improving for when you get back. Would also be available for a long term loan. Not looking for payment.
