All the queens horses jubilee - itv tonight

Those "golden horses" were beautiful! This is more like what I was expecting to see! Rather than looking back at her holiday videos!

I am loving it especially those Cosacks not to mention that talented Frenchman.

You should come to Puy de Fou in the Vendee. The jousting is truly exciting and they warm up for the event just like those Cosack riders. Chariot racing too. Apparently the most popular tourist attraction in Europe.

Personally now I am an OAP have had to give up jumping on and off at a gallop!!

watching it now - OMG, Rolf Harris, that dancing shettie (rolling), that foal, it's all just fantastic.......but the best bit is when they show the Queen loving it !! I do wish they'd concentrate more on the horses tho, not the singers.

PRICELESS :D

I went - it was amazing night. However there were actually loads more horses actually involved but so far they have hardly shown any of them.

yes, it does seem like the horses are thin on the ground - they have got the balance wrong. Maybe there is an album coming out to flog ;)

Editing is awful. Esp for the Italian riders " never seen before in this country" and still not seen as far as I'm concerned as they blooming concentrated on the "international" singers. Grr.

The 2 Appaloosa Stallions (in the western bit) were 'Joe Glow' and 'Wa Ha Dar' both from the USA but live in the UK, I met Joe a few years ago, lovely little stallion...

good show, but not bothered about 'her trips' get the horses on.... :D

Anyone else feel uncomfortable watching the dancing Mawari horses?

I don't know what methods were used in their training, but I've seen a lot of videos of Egyptian dancing horses, the bits used, and the results of these on their tongues - nasty!

No idea about the training methods but I visited a Marwari stud in Rajastan & the animals were in seriously luxury conditions - large, air conditioned stables & the grooms seemed to really love the horses. I rode a black stallion, he had such a wonderful temprement. We were in a national park & when we stopped at a water hole near a village he was telling us that a tiger often drank there. We thought he was joking until the park director was telling us about one tiger that was a problem as it came too close to the village & took cattle!

OMG Joss Stones tongue is orange - a little tmi for my liking, yuck.

Ha ha I noticed this too - what with her orange tongue & Susan Boyles yellow teeth it put me right off my tea

That aside this had to be the worst case of mistitling that I've ever come across. Even if that's not a real word you get where I'm coming from!

I thought it was wonderful - a little too much focus on the singers and dancers, but it was lovely to see so many horses and cultures from round the globe. I especially liked Jean Francois Pignon and seeing the smile on the Queen's face when her racehorses came on.
