It was good and very interesting.

What a horse that guy was when the Queen was shot at. He hardly batted an eye. Loved George, the Mounties present to the Queen. He was gorgeous!!!

Spartacus was cool too!!

Just loved the way that the queen smiled. So obvious that she has a real passion for the horses, her face just lights up. And was the betting that she was straight down to meet george when he arrived rather that waiting for the ceremony.

Yes he was a star, but the queen kept her cool and rode well didn't she.I was surprised to learn that even at 80 she still rides out at least 3 times a week.

Another one who really enjoyed it. Proper Sunday night viewing, brought back some memories of riding an ex Kings Troop horse, wasnt told, on purpose, that he didnt like his girth being done up when mounted, damn thing tanked off with me bucking for England, ended up on the Colonels lawn, escorted back to the stables by military police!!!

Fantastic program, BUT what a waste of time all that polishing the life guards have to do. I cannot see any reasonable reason for it.It must cost a fortune in man hours which I thought the army keep telling us they are short of. Don't get me wrong what the whole thing means and stands for etc is great But a quick spray polish would look good. Just cant see the point of 100 hours of polishing for one man and his tack.

Yay, it was a fabby program, check Prince Philip out, cant believe he fell out of his carriage, just shouted "No you idiots!" at his horses, and carried on, good on him!!!

puts the queen and prince phillip in a different light for me they are actually quite human and yes agree with the completely natural happy smiles from both whilst around the horses.
and a great sense of humour (phillip over fence timing - its not rocket science !!!)
do you think if i dropped my boots off they'd give them a shine LOL

Great programme. Loved the way it covered most of the horse disciplines. The Queen and Prince Phillip look so much more relaxed when around horses.

Great to see George Bowman snr - IMO one of Britain's finest horsemen.
