.... I certainly know what not to feed!
My neighbour put a note through my door asking me to feed her black lab this evening. TBH I hardly see her or the dog and have never really looked at him before. Anyway when I went into the house I made a fuss of him and noticed how dull and dandruffy his coat was - it really is 'lifeless'. I went to go and get his feed and realised why....he has 2 x mugs of Tesco Value Complete Dog Buscuits

!! It is truly awful stuff - smells and looks vile. I dont know how anyone can feed that stuff

Aww, poor doggie, if his coat looks that bad imagine how rubbish he must feel, like eating the same junk food every day....

Thats not good! Maybe try talkuing to her about it? but at the same time she might take offense....... its hard! especially when you know what would be better etc, and cost is obviously not a huge deal!!!

Maybe she doesn't know any better ? Perhaps having a general conversation and dropping it in casually that you feed yours .... when she comments how shiny they are ? Grooming and bathing could be your second mission for her
