Well it is about as interesting as waiting for someone to post.....:p:D:D

Ironing at this time of night  I am off to bed :o

I'm having a quick nosey before bed....plus super Corgi is being such a good boy I have nothing to post about....hopefully have more pictures soon though :D

Not good ironing this late is it. had hectic day, friends mums funeral this morning:(, then worked late to catch up. Working tomorrow and out tomorrow night so its now or leave it to Sunday, and if the suns shining I do not want to be anywhere near an ironing board.;)

Sorry Gazehound - don't get to go in here often anymore :(

However, I have posted photos of new puppy :) But I have just checked back and seen you haven't replied so maybe you are a watcher too! ;)

Don't you find though that sometimes you leave this tab open therefore counted as one of the viewers but are spending your time elsewhere on other tabs such as Facebook, Scrabble etc?

I'm sad to hear about your friend's loss.

Thanks for the thought Finny. Our little "gang of 4" who have been friends since starting secondary school days have sadly all reached the age where our parents are no longer with us. 3 out of the 4 of us have now lost both parents. It was a sad occasion of course, but also nice to see people we hadn't seen for many years, friends aunts etc.

When my grandmother died some years ago, my mother mourned her loss of course, but later she has also said that it felt so strange having to realise that she now was the oldest, that both her parents where gone. Which also got her own feelings of mortality to become more realistic, because eventually even if it hopefully is years away into the future, in the immediate family it is she and my father who is most likely to die next.

Though, on my mother's side of the family the majority tends to live long lives, so one of my mother's uncles are still alive, but on the other hand, he is 90+ and not exactly fit as a fiddle any more.
