Can any of you help?

I am moving to a new yard, which unfortuantely is going to incurr a rather expensive bill it would seem.

Do any of you know of any bargains for the following items that you could post me links to:

-Lockable wardrobe type cupboard, made of either plastic or metal. I have been looking at the B&Q ones, but they're a good £70 plus!

-Lockable saddle rack

-Bins or similar for feed storage. Cheapest I can find are £11 each, and I need 4 £44 on bins??!!

-Electric fencing stakes and rope. Around 250m rope, and 10-20 stakes.

-Rubber matting for stable walls

Cheers all!

I would try ebay, friday-ad, anywhere like that. Do you have to get the whole lot in one go, cant you buy a bit one month, and make do with, for example, taking your tack home for a month

I got my feed bins from B&Q for £9 although they may have gone up since.

Tip for B&Q, if you know an over 60/65 they can get a 10% discount card, might be worth dragging out an elderly relative!

Barsteward rats ate through my plastic dustbin so I had to buy a metal one

Cupboard wise, could an old filing cabinate (sp?) do?

Second the old chest freezer point.

Rubber matting, have heard something about cow matting being good for floors.. Why do you need your walls as well?

I believe robinsons are good for fencing?

And have you checked Freecycle?

feedbins try Wilkinsons or pound-stretcher thats where me and a couple of others get ours from.

I'm afraid thats the only thing I can help with.

I got my feedbins from Wilkinsons too about 8 I think. My matting came from Robinsons - I would reccomend surrey equestrian as they have good prices and also have a look on ebay?

Good Luck! x
