All you dressage divas out there… quick question.

I adore grooming.. it’s cathartic and extremely satisfying. When I’m finished I like to put some quarter markers on. I do this freehand. I would like to know if this would be allowed in a dressage competition? I know it’s OK for eventing and racing but not sure about dressage so all you lovely dressage people, please let me know.

Well Carl and Charlotte often have quarter markings at least they did when Alan Davies was grooming for them. He’s done YouTube vids about it!!

I was writing at the Petplan championships at Arena UK a couple of weeks ago and several horses had quarter markings. Didn't get them any extra marks, but none of the judges commented

Should be at least an extra 10 points if done well!

OMG! I will be watching them! I just love grooming so much and when there are good quarter markers it just finishes off a good look.
