I just help her out with hers when shes away etc... I've got wooden stable with rubber matting and automatic water drinker. She goes out in a 2 acre field with my friends 35 yr old pony. They have a poo hoover so they hoover the fields every week. We have a school and fab hacking but sadly i dont use either because shes retired.

My other horse is based with a professional event rider so I pay £125 per week which basically covers everything I can just turn up and ride! We have indoor, outdoor, jumping paddock, cross country course, off road hacking and fab road hacking.

Currently on DIY north london - £40 a week for stable, have to buy feeds, hay and straw on top etc. Great facilities, turnout not been great this winter and the livery is terrible so I'm moving next month.

I will be paying £100.00 for 5 day livery where everything is done during the week, they have all year beautiful turnout and the standard of care is super high. I can go to uni in september without worrying that my horse has been left without water.

I am in North London and I pay £160 a month DIY. We have had this year all year turnout 24/7 but the conditions have not been great due to the rain but I feel lucky to have that as most yards do not offer 24/7 turnout all year and I have a NF gelding who just loves being out all the time with his friends even in the mud and rain!. I do have a stable and he does come in sometimes though he much prefers being out. Also it is better for him to be on well grazed land rather than lush grass as he is a good doer.

In addition I pay for hay to be put in the field as all the living out horses get it (tbh i am not exactly sure how much this is costing as it is just added to my bill and makes my life easier I have extras too and buy hay and straw from the yard which is very handy).

I love my yard as it has great facilities, the staff are friendly and knowledgable and flexible but leave you to do your own thing and they are sensible too. I don't need to go every day and I know that they will also keep an eye on my pony if I am on holiday or ill. It may not be the cheapest place out there but it suits my pony and me perfectly.

DIY(ive got 2 horses on there)
£90 per month per horse- includes stable, grazing and water/electrics,use of school

i get 13x13 stable with mats.
3 post and rail fields to use as i want.
sand school, hardly ever in use and kept really nice.
great hacking-quiet lanes, bridle paths, park and beach all within 5-40mins walk away.

get big field(30 acres) with hay if there isnt enough grass, use of horse walker and menage(but yard has about 180 horses there and lots of kids so can be hard to school properly!) at main yard 10min walk away.nearby nice hacks but field on short busy horrible road.
