Allen and page quiet mix and box rest feeding

Is the above feed mostly fibre like slim and healthy?
Also , any recommendations for box rest feed. At the moment planning on high fibre cubes from spillers and alfa a lite as the horse is prone to dropping weight. Plus ad lib forage.
Was thinking if this mix was chaffy i could feed it instead of the alfa a , or also looked at winergy low energy .
Any thoughts welcome.

its not "quiet" at all, it has infact got a starch level of 32% which is eqquivalent to many high energy competition mixes. a hiigh fibre cube and low calorie, low sugar chaff would be your best bet. Hope sher's ok x

How about Allen & Page Fast Fibre. Perfect for box rest, low energy, low starch etc. I feed that mixed with alfa a light when mine is working and when he is on box rest. As you soak it for 1 minute it also means you are getting plenty of fluids into them and you can feed quite a lot to keep them happy and occupied.
