Allen & Page Cool & Collected

Yes we are. Fantastic - can't reccommend it too highly!

I have a 13.2 cob good do-er and a 14.2 ISH with feed related fizzies. They were on pasture mix and Dobson & Horrell competition mix respectively. After chatting to the nice woman at A&P we decided to give it a go.

Now both are on C&C with a tiny top up of Power & performance. (Why I didn't think of feeding this way before I don't know!) This way thier guts are adapted to both feeds and we can up the P&P as needed for competitions etc. (And the ISH gets P&P in his treat ball to stop him trashing his stable.)

I know feed changes do make a difference to horses but I have never seen such a drammatic change to the ISH. He went from being a total nutjob to a relatively calm horse. He'll never be the chilled out lad the cob is - but he's a grade C show jumper bought for affilliated competition so they're all a bit nuts. The difference is amazing and I can't reccommend it too highly.

Marvellous stuff!

I feed half a scoop and it soaks in one minute (or the time it takes to add any supplements, if you use them). I then mix each soaked serving with a three quarter scoop of low mollass chaff.

Top up with hay and carrots as and when and there's my winter feed sorted.

It really bulks up so one bag lasts a long time.

More calories than fast fibre for Winter. Less sugar and starch (which converts to sugar) than Ride and Relax and Calm and Condition, so less fizzing.

I use it for my greedy good to medium doer half Shire .
