Dressage Allens Hill - Milliepops or others?

Not really limited to dressage but I seem to have put that heading in now - do any of the south west area people go to Allens Hill - if so do you get off the M5 at Junct 6 as per their website which drops you onto an A road so looks nice and simple if longer, or do you get off at Junction 7 as per google map directions and go down a B road through a village. Person at our yard I think does the Junction 7 but I am thinking the longer easy route is probably the option I will take. Many thanks.
 
I come from the other direction but would use junc 6 and the A44 if coming the other way, however, there have been some roadworks quite close to Allenshill recently so I would check if they have moved further up the A44 which might cause a probem.

Ah thank you, I will email them or ask on the BD website as they have BD today.
 
The route from Junction 7 isn't too bad for you if you are under 7.5. Drakes Broughton is a little tight and that route will bring you back onto the A44 and need a right turn onto the main road.

For easy travelling I would go to junction 6. You have 2 roundabouts big ones, but the whole route in is one main road that is wide so no worries about artics passing you. I go that way, but I am travelling from the north having got on the M5 at Droitwich.

Coming in either way it is very easy to miss the turn into Allens Hill and then you end up going over a set of lights to find somewhere to turn. As you approach on the A44 as soon as you sign the sign for Pershore to the right, get your right signal on and slow down.

Oh thank you so much - will definitely go for the easy option and thank you for the warning re missing the turn. I will copy those instructions down.
 
I live just off the A44, very close to Allens Hill. There are temporary traffic lights on the A44 at the Peopleton turn (about 1/2 a mile from Allens Hill). There is a slight delay but nothing to worry about, only a couple of minutes.

So easy to go sailing past the entrance to Allens Hill, be alert! I think there is a Horse warning sign, so start slowing down, you don't see the entrance until you are nearly past it (for security reasons I guess).
