Allergic reaction?

Anyone had anything like this inside your horses mouth before? Could it be an allergic reaction to something? She is itching her bottom/tail a lot too and the pink skin on/inside her vulva is also red. Not sure how long her mouth has been like it but think her vulva has been like it week or two, she was on doxy (karidox) up till last Thursday.

I have just posted as my horse on doxycyline (one dose last night) Now won't eat? Was told that if you syringe down with water can blister mouth. I am assuming by doxy you mean doxycyline if not ignore me!!!

We must of been posting each others threads at the same time. if you syringed with water my vet did say there was a risk of blistering the mouth.

I syringed it for months, she had a few small blisters the second week. A friend of mine also used it and was told to only syringe it one week. This horse had 7 months of it last year and it didnt do this to her mouth back then.
