Does anyone have any experience with this condition? Our ten year old beagle bitch had a CT scan yesterday as she has had severe nasal congestion for a number of weeks. We have received the results and fortunately there is no tumour present which is what the vet suspected. She believes that it is something she is allergic to. Her main symptoms are severe nasal blockage, respiratory distress, snorting, and mucuous which varies from clear to white and in some instances green that usually comes down one nostril but sometimes both. She lives in the countryside at a riding club, where she has lived for ten years. We have had chickens since July last year although her problems started around Xmas time so we don't think it is that. She lives in a mobile home which is quite dry so we have bought a humidifier that is in constant use but that hasn't had much effect. She has had various drugs from the vets which have not really had much effect including steroids. Anyone recommend any homeopathic treatment. I have googled Aconite as being usefull in this instance? Does anyone have first hand experience of this condition? Do you know of any non allergenic food we can try her with?
