Okay, so Big Cob is feeling a-little-not-himself. Nothing one can really put a finger on, just not his usual self. He suffers from COPD, but his breathing is pretty good at the moment.

Friend is thinking of trying the Naff breathing stuff (forgotten the name!), but was wondering if it was an allergy and whether a call to Global Herbs or similar would be the way to go.

If his breathing gets bad he goes onto Ventipulmin, but he's not at that stage at the moment.

Thoughts and comments welcomes and thankies

Could he just have picked up a virus??Maybe something with echinacea in may help???it boosts the immune system!
I personally dont like global herbs, everything seems to be in powder form and you have to give them something daft like 6 scoops aday, which you would have to give them 2 feeds a day which at this time of yr ya dont really want to do

and you have to give them enough feed so they cant taste the powder

Just my opinion after using a couple of their herbal powder products and they did nothing

One feed a day is one too many at the moment (have I mentioned how much lush grass the yard has, but it doesn't have a fatties/lami paddock?).

I'll suggest the echinacea, and that she speaks to Global Herbs (bearing all in mind!

).

I think the Naff stuff is Breatheze(?) something like that anyway!

Global herbs are great and its worth contacting them.

The NAF stuff is called Respireaze.

I would rug the horse if he isnt already and give a supplement of some kind, echinacea is also worth giving a go as is horselyx respiration. It goes without saying not to exercise the horse as it will put extra strain on the lungs.

If it doesnt improve, call the vet.
