Allergy to equisorb bedding?

I am posting this on behalf of a friend. She moved her horse to a new livery yard that uses Equisorb bedding. Her horse has been coughing up cream 'gunk' which is worse in the morning. The vet couldnt find anything wrong and the horse hasnt had previous respiratory problems.

More likely to be change in hay or a low level virus, would be worse in morning if horse is turned out in day as would naturally drain whilst turned out..? There are alot of virus's about at the mo...

We have the whole yard on equisorb- we have not had a single problem.There is a lot of virus' about.
