Bought a brand new pair of clippers a few months ago as I have now moved to a yard where not many people have clippers i could borrow and figured this would be easier. Gave my horse a tiny little trace clip about a month or two ago and all was fine. Have got them out this morning to give him a blanket clip and they have decided not to work. they are all oiled and look fine, it has a soft start motor and they start to work for about 4 seconds then they just stop. Any ideas?

Hey

Make sure the filters are clean and remove the blades and make sure they are hair free and well oiled.

Also make sure the blades are at the right tension as they wont work if they are too loose/tight.

My clippers have a cut out button which i just reset if they cut out(once I have checked all the above and they havent got too hot)

if all self investigation fails - are they still under warrantee?
Or try sending them off for a service - There are lots of online send of places.

If it were me - i would take them to the local tack store - the lady in there is a whiz at sorting everything out!!! :D
