I have just purchased some Aloe vera juice to try with my horse. Doe any one know how much to give and do you put it direct into the feed or syringe in mouth maybe? Also if syringing in mouth would it be best to give before feed?

Have been giving ours Aloe Vera Juice for years just a capfull everyday in his feed. Get it from the health shop as human stuff is cheaper

I got some from Holland and Barrett. How much is a capful? Do you put it into the feed and have you seen a imorovement? Thanks for the reply.

I use the measuring cap which comes with the bottle and give 2 capfuls, so probably about 60ml in a small amount of chaff. I also give a TINY amount of bran to encourage them to eat.
I have definitely seen an improvement in Ms Grumpy and in fact when I ran out for a couple of days, she reverted to grumpiness and kicked out at the stable wall and dislodged. I make sure we don't run out now!

Thank you, do you use the holland and barrett one? I will try it in her feeds and see if she still eats them. It smells stronger than I thought it would.
