Aloe Vera Products?

Hi All,

Do any of you use Aloe Vera (forever Living) products, for your horses? My mum is a seller and she has recommended that I try Forever Freedom or the Aloe Jelly to help my horse with stiffness.

I just wanted to see what peoples experiences were, as I have a bottle in my fridge I was using, but if it'll benefit her more, then I'm all for giving it a shot?

I haven't used it myself but was in a national hunt trainers yard recently and they had quite a few horses on it, no idea how much was being fed or how long they were on it. They were just complaining about the cost of it!!

I have fed the liquid aloe vera, vet told me to give it to my gelding when he had a virus I only fed it for a few weeks so not sure if it helped or not.

A friend of mine has used the wash stuff on her horse's mud fever, along with the propalis cream and the Aloe jelly. It was the only thing that cleared it up and he hasn't had it back since. She was given the book of products and what they suggested they be used for, it made useful reading. Not tried the Aloe drink stuff, as said above it worked out a bit expensive
