Has anyone used this for joints? Thanks
No but my vet did suggest it for hock arthritis for my mare. Did some research and decided against it, there is limited evidence for it in general and no long term studies as it’s quite new. Went for Arthramid instead which out physio also recommended over the Alpha. Depends on the joints I think as there has been some positive results in other areas just not much for hocksHas anyone used this for joints? Thanks
Thank you. My young cob has had surgery for PSD and arthramid into his hocks but the vet suggested it for his stifles which are effused. However, I think we will try steroids first. No but my vet did suggest it for hock arthritis for my mare. I think there has been some research on its use for stifles, I'm sure someone commented before when I asked the same question! https://forums.horseandhound.co.uk/threads/alpha-2-injection-experiences.844314/Thank you.
