Can anyne give me some ideas on where i might start to look for a NICE stamp of horse on loan or share? I am an experienced rider looking for a horse to ride. My old horse (who was bred my by mother) is now unsound and retired and i'm now looking for one to loan. Problem is, i don't know where to start looking. I can find plenty of old horses loking for a happy hack home but thats not really what i'm looking for. Looking for perhaps a young horse to break/ bring on for someone over the summer or a horse that i can school on and compete at local level or BE eventing.
Anyone got any ideas?

Try putting an ad up in your local tack shop, look on pony club websites and im not sure if Horsemart and Horsequest have horses for loan but they might do so look on their webistes too...

A friend of mine found a cracking intermediate eventer after she put an ad in H&H in the 'wanted' section. Dont know if that would work every time though!! Local free ads are also quite productive in the 'Wanted on loan' section. I'm sure there will be people with a youngster that would love someone experienced to bring it on! Happy hunting!
