Also posted in club house but will also put here as know some people don't go in there

I loved Fly by Night when I was a kid and this and some of her other books are now available on kindle :) I have just downloaded fly by night and the team (never read that) because I am sad :p feel nostalgic now!

Years ago I read Blind Beauty and loved it and I think it is probably the best horsey book I have ever read. I also read Flambards which I also really enjoyed, I feel inspired to look at some of her other books now.

I'm another one who read all four Flambards novels plus Blind Beauty - she is one of my fave horsy authors :). Loving that she is on kindle now!! I found the dragon riders of pern series recently added to kindle too and it sparked a real nostalgia read session too :)

I adore K M Peyton and am gradually working my way through everything she's written she's got some great adult novels too and some fantastic non-horsey/only slightly horsey books. The other stories that link with Fly by Night and The Team are Call Yourself a Hero and A Midsummer Nights Death and The Last Ditch staring the lovely Jonathan Meredith and Peter Mcnair ( and The Pennington Trilogy which from the second book onward show Ruth reaching adulthood. You might be able to tell I'm very much a fan!

Oooh Amicus, thankyou for that! I loved Fly by Night and The Team & now off to check out the others with those characters in-very happy bunny :-)
Ps I am VERY sad when it comes to childhood pony books: I have my original 'Jills' and re-read often. Also the Pullein Thompsons-re-read' Prince among Ponies' last week for the first time since I was ten 😃

if you like anne mccaffery try Mercedes Lackey......Start with Arrows of the Queen trio.

I loved fly by night. I have just put it on my kindle too :0). My absolute favourite series as a youngster was the Jinny series by Patricia Leitch. Would love for them to be on kindle too.

Love, love, love pony books! KM Peyton is my favourite as is Patricia Leitch. For Peyton - really love the fly by night series and flambards, wild boy and queen moon. For Leitch - obviously the whole jinny and shantih series but also dream of fair horses, jump to the top and a horse of our own. I have a massive collection and still buy more aged 35!
