Hi all,

Can anyone recommend any livery yards in the Bucks area (eg: Marlow / Stokenchurch / Lane End / Bledlow Ridge / Saunderton, Frieth etc, could stretch to HW or Beaconsfield for the right yard)?

In my ideal world, I am looking for :

DIY with stable
Good grazing
Option of 24/7 T/O in summer
Secure tackroom
School - with good surface and lights
Must have good hacking
Trailer/lorry parking

Any yards to avoid? PM if you prefer!

Thank you all in advance.

Hi!

Bledlow is my equine stomping ground. I'd say Manor Farm for DIY in Henton- just literally the next left where you would go right up the hill to Bledlow Ridge. The other livery yard, opposite it on the same lane is Allnutts Farm. Don't know if they do 24/7 summer TO though.

I believe there's one down Sandpit Lane- not Corham Stables, that's full livery, but next door. That's in Bledlow- got great facilities and I do believe it does DIY.

Another one if you're into SJ particularly is Ross Irving's yard- White Hill Stables, or maybe it's WhiteChurch- gosh, I'll remember in a minute. Ross is great- brought my SJ on leaps and bounds.

Gommes would be a good space to strt for the local adverts, and also possibly Widmer- Lacey Green- though that might be a bit far from you, but probably okay. It's a bit of a factory though, and I wouldn't do full livery there, but the DIY I have heard is fine.
Pyatts in Lane End is great, though don't know if they still do DIY.

Hope that gets u started, do yell if I can help any more, and I will remember the full name of Ross's yard, I promise!

Great thanks.

Do you know if any of them have websites?

IF you could remember the name of the Sandpit Lane place that would be great.

I thought Henton was near Chinnor ? Perhaps I am mistaken.
