Also in TR - can you use dog trimmers on a horse?

I've been offered a second hand set of Wahl dog trimmers and was wondering if it was worth getting them for tidying up the horse? I have a proper set of clippers but would be using these for whiskers/re-hog and also for desensitisation work with pony as he's still a bit unsure about me using the big clippers on his face/front legs.

Is it worth it do you think? They are £20

Which model? - arco or bravura would work many smaller whal trimmers struggle on dogs.

Waste of time. ( & £20 is dear as you can often get these new for around £15)

If you want a good desensitising tool get a cheap battery toothbrush. ( Or go in Anne Summers and ask for the cheapest, noisiest, accessory they sell)
