Would like to know if Badger is working anywhere near properly? And what exercises we could do to get better?? I know my riding looks really bad by the way!! Think I know where I'm going wrong but feel free to tell me, then I might be more inclined to do something about it!

It's just a trot and canter round a bit and then don't know what to do!

My very uneducated guess would be that you seem to be leaning forward a bit? Otherwise very nice, although he is very big!

yea I know!

Must sit up!!!

He's only 16.3, I'm 5'7'', but he looks HUGE!!! I always used to wonder what my mum was on about saying he was so big - now I know!

I agree with TripleSandH - you are leaning forward a bit and you should look up. Badger looks like he has a nice active trot - he is a big lad!
Amazing views from your arena - where on earth are you?

God wish it was my arena - and my house!! It's totally STUNNING!! It's my mates house - about 20 miles north of Sheffield, on the eastern edge of the Pennines.

At a quick glance i think you need to sit back and into the saddle, relax your upper arm and lengthen your stirrups at least 2 holes if not more.

Your horse is lovely, he needs to relax down and over his back more. Do you do much long and low work with him? As this is what i would be suggesting to help him develop more over his back. He has a nice backend but looks like hes lacking topline a bit.
