Altering Konigs Boots???

Anyone done this

I'm just trying to get a rough guess at how much it will cost to make my Konigs Smaller around the calfs.

I did have them made 2 measure, good idea

until i lost quite a bit of weight

i wasnt competing at the time so never thought about it until 3 months ago When i put them on only to find there like pudding stirrers around my calfs.

If anyone has had there Konigs altered did you send them direct to Konigs ?? Or sent them back through the shop you bought them from??

Haha Yes been there done that! Got measured when I weighed 12 stone 10lbs, boots arrived 6 weeks later by which time it was winter I wasnt competing and went on to shed a further 2 stone, come the spring they looked like wellies! I sent mine back through the saddler I bought them off, Village Saddlery, they had to be stretched once when they came back but now they fit like a glove (and a bit softer for the stretch).
