Alternative to balancer?

My horse is a warmblood in light- med work and is doing very well on good quality haylage and grass. I am only feeding balancer as she can get fizzy and simply does not need anything else. Unfortunately she does not like baileys lo cal or Spillers lite balancer. Does anyone know alternatives to balancers like a powder which I could feed in a little bit of cubes or a balancer, which horses love? Preferably not too expensive... Thanks for your suggestions!
 
Top spec do a powder called 'comprehensive' which is similar to their balancer but without the extra protein. But there are many vit/min powders on the market really, take your pick!

Vet Plus do a liquid vitamin/mineral supplement called 'EVENT' that you literally just syring down their throats one a month
 
Equimins advance is very good and has had great results on mine. I have not tried any alternatives though just spent ages reading up on it and felt this was the best option but was choosing on basis of quality rather than price so I am not sure how it compares. I just add it to a tiny quantity of cubes and they scoff the lot!
 
Try Triple Top Up its a balancer in a powder and i give it to my TB its meant to help gain and hold adequate weight and has all essential oils etc in it - worked wonders on mine and he's now looking great all ive done now he's up to weight is take down the amount i give him now and then if he does a lot of hard work and drops a little i up it to balance him out but its brilliant about 28 pounds a bag but it lasts ages
 
Thanks for the suggestions, I will have a further research in these. I just want basic vitamins and minerals really. She is not lacking anything neither has a specific need so I thought a cheap one would do, but it doesn't mean I would not spend more for the right product ;)

Ill second Equimins Advance. I have been feeding this and have had really good results. I feed the pellet one, there is a powder also.
 
Think Pink for me (Brinicombe Equine). Costs about £13 for 6 weeks and gives all the vits and mins and yeast. Smells lovely too!
 
If she is on good quality haylage and grass, and she has no specific deficincies, I would save your money by not giving her one!
 
I feed a vit/mineral supplement called Ultimin Gold. Really pleased with the way my horse looks and it is very reasonably priced.
 
What about dodson and horrell equibites. Vit and min biscuit so can be fed as a treat. Good value. Use for both of mine as they never get fed only hay in winter if it snows. I have to order mine in from local feed merchant but you can get all the info on d@h website.

True, but it kind of puts your mind at rest knowing they get everything they need especially as she does a fair bit of competing. We never had her blood tested and so far she is on balancer (well the tiny amount I manage to feed her), so I don't know how she would do without... better be safe than sorry.

The equibites sound really good! I think this might just be what I need...
 
I think a mineral lick is the best option as horses can dose themselves when they need to I use Rockies 5 star.

Most balancers for forage based diets contain protein as forage fed horse often are a bit short of protein a rockie won't give that but a good powder supplement fed with a bit of alfalfa / linseed will and be much cheaper than a balancer.365 complete has linseed in it.
 
I'm pretty sure Top Spec Comprehensive supplement has now been re-packaged/marketed as 'All in One' supplement. It also now has caramel flavour added to it (smells a bit like a cross between milk powder and maltesers!) and is now gobbled up by a horse on our yard,who previously rejected it when it didn't have the flavouring in.
