Alternative to Devil's Claw for Pregnant Mare

Has anyone got any suggestions please?

Mare is around 20, and slightly arthritic - has been on Devil's claw in the past with brilliant results. Obviously, has not had any since she was covered and wondered if anyone had any alternatives?

I dont have any alternative suggestions but had to ask the question - why has a 20 yo arthritic mare been put in foal? Especially one who needs pain medication?

Vetrofen is a good alternative to devils claw.. We use it when necessary for my mare since she has had problems woth ulcers so she can't have devils claw or bute.
