Just wondered if there was anything cheaper on the market but which does the same thing? I currently buy the 25Kg sacks of Stable Zone for £33 + £6 P&P.

I have just read an article about a horsey lady who worked in a nursing home and tried this Chemzyme in her stable and apparently its marvellous: totally gets rid of any smells.....but I cant find anywhere that retails it!

There is a much cheaper alternative that some people use at our yard, don't know if it's as good as have used stablezone but is much cheaper, will have a look at the name tomorrow but I know it's pink! PM me if i forget as have memory like a sieve!

I think you can only buy it from one of their wholesalers. I've emailed my nearest one (gotten from the website link you've provided) and am awaiting a reply.

Before I got my rubber matting I used to use something called Stalosan - good stuff. Its non toxic and safe for humans and horses, and really gets rid of the smell in stables. It was cheap too, I would get a big box of it from my local feed merchants for around £8, and it would last for ages.

I have used Reosan.... It smells of Bubble Gum

(and its pink)

Doesnt stop the smell for all that long though. Have also used green gloop but that is not long lasting either
