For my native pony - I use it as a partial hay replacement & to mix in with my feed to make sure he eats his not-so-yummy (to him!) supplements.

As he's a native (& an awesome good doer!) I like Fast Fibre as it's a low calorie, high fibre, non heating feed source but it can be difficult to get from our feed merchant, so wondering if there is an alternative to Fast Fibre that might be easier to get hold of (I'm obviously going to ask them, but wanted some alternatives to ask specifically about).

I've seen Fibre Beet - but my concern was that it said on the advert that it was good for helping to hold wright through winter ... Which we obviously don't need!

He can be quite fizzy too, so again, non-heating is essential.

I can offer scones with jam & cream to anyone that can help ... :)

Fat fibre shouldn't be a problem to get hold of, all good stockists supply it, however, it's easy enough to order online.

No, your right it shouldn't but local feed merchant/tack shop has recently had a management/ownership change over & lately has been out of stock of other 'easy' products to get hold of - I.e Dengie Happy Hoof, High Fibre cubes, saddle soap & hoof dressing. I've had some problems with ordering too from them. Having said that, today I stocked up on 3 bags of FF & plenty of other stock was in, so maybe things are back to normal. My two other nearest feed merchants are in different villages, so I can't do a feed run on my lunch break and it would cost more in petrol/time, nor is there a lot of storage at my yard to bulk buy from online to offset shipping costs.

Having said that, I may well end up storing some at home and the yard or buying from somewhere else, if I still have problems with current stockists but was wondering if there was another product to investigate too, to look at all my options :)
