Alternatives to clogs

Hi my horse has laminitis in all four feet. First set of x rays not too bad but it was early on so more damage is expected. She is having a second set next week. Is the gold standard clogs?

One of mine had styrofoam pads on initially, fitted by the vet. As he recovered he had shoes with pads and gel syringed in. One before that had heart bar shoes fitted but this is a long time ago now. I've not had one where clogs were recommended.
