According to my feed merchant, Dengie have stopped making Healthy Tummy. This is sad news as our horse looks very well on it and has evented successfully on just this and a balancer for years. Can anyone recommend an alternative? The ingredients are as follows:

Alfalfa, alfalfa pellets, rape seed oil, vitamin and mineral premix, ADM protexin in-feed formula, yeast and prebiotics, herbs

So no straw or molasses. Thank you.

Answered my own question but just putting it here if anyone else is interested! Alfa A Molasses Free sounds identical except without the Protexin or yeast:

Chopped alfalfa, alfalfa pellets, rapeseed oil, mint and fenugreek.

I will add a tummy supplment and hopefully all should be good!

My boy looks and feels the best he ever has on the Dengie - he's natrually hot but this seems to keep him very chilled, despite being alfafa, so I will be sad to change.

I hope they don't stop making it. I moved from Alfa a to that for the frivolous reason that is in a smaller sack so it's easier to carry and all fits in my bin. My pony really likes it. If I can't get it I'll go back to Alfa a molasses free.

THIS ISN'T TRUE
(bolded so people will see)

Despite not feeding this, I decided to ring Dengie and ask them myself because feed merchants are great at playing telephone.

Dengie have had supply issues and staff shortages. They stopped production of Healthy Tummy for a couple of weeks, but they're now back in production now and have absolutely no plans to stop making healthy tummy. It may take a minute for stock to return to normal, but there's no need to panic or switch :)

I was just going to say the same.

ETA: I'm planning to switch to Hi-Fi lite for the summer anyway.

This could be due to the fire they had in December

Thanks. I'll have to switch temporarily as I've run out and noone has any stock near me. I'll probably change to the alfa a molasses free anyway as its cheaper

There was a massive fire at Dengie last year so doesn’t surprise me if some of their products are temporarily out of stock
