Alternatives to Roeckl gloves?

I am a massive fan of the Roeckl Chester gloves (winter and summer) but they just don't last long at all before the coating peels off. It doesn't help that I have a horse who licks everything so they're often wet.

Do I have to resign myself to paying out for them every couple of months, or is there a hardwearing alternative that still provides the same grip and feel?

They're my glove of choice too.

I've recently invested in some MacWets and SealSkinz. The jury it still out, but I'm not keen on the MWs. The SS ones are lovely but the ones I have are a lot thicker than the Roeckls so not perfect!

I have Woof Wear, event I think. I really like them as they are thin (I can tack up with them on!), not-bulky but good grip and seem hardwearing. I've not had the Roeckl to compare them to though!

SSG all weather gloves are good, they last me for at least a year, I do endurance so when I'm competing they get a lot of wear!

I use the bionic ones (they do come up a bit small though) the suede type, they last me wearing for everything about 3 months - best so far, found the roeckl just too soft and most others too bulky, don't dry out quick enough or i can't grip in them. I get mine wet and they dry out very quickly, plus where i have limited grip they have stretchy bits in the right places helping me!

We've got McWet competition gloves (for hunting...) which have lasted the season really well. The SSG's didn't fit - the finger length was wrong. Sealskins discontinued their really thin one and the others are too bulky and Roekls just didn't last. But we ill got back to Roekls (how do you spell that?!) for the competition season.

I've got some John Whitaker ones which I like. They don't last much longer but they are cheaper than Roekl ones. I've also got some very cheap Rhingold ones. They don't look as nice but they're fine round the yard and for hacking so I can save the nicer ones for when we're out and about.

I'm another Roeckl fan - I have found that the Ariat techgrips are good. They last me longer (about same price) and their winter ones are really good (I think better than Roeckl).

I think I might try the SSG All Weather ones and then maybe still get a pair of Roeckl ones for schooling/lessons.

Never had Roeckl gloves to compare, although was going to buy a pair soon just because everyone raves about them. But I've always used SSG gloves which are nice and thin (I hate bulky gloves) and have lasted a long time - I only use mine for competing in but my current pair have lasted 2 years and only just developed a hole or two in the in between fingers bits.

There are no alternatives!

I have a a very tired pair for everyday riding and then a "new" pair for shows. When the tired pair ends up with holes in them, they become yard gloves (so my hands don't smell) and the show pair become everyday gloves and then I replace the show gloves with new pair 😊

I bought a pair of thin Roeckl Clarino Grip gloves about 4 years ago. At the same time I was given a pair of Good Hands gloves which were very similar. The little squares on the Roeckl peeled off very quickly. The grip on the Good Hands looked like a 'mesh' and has not worn off. The material on both gloves has worn equally well.
I still use both pairs regularly for good weather hunting and hacking but am inclined to wear the Good Hands ones in worse weather. I don't suppose they would be any good for wearing in the show ring now though!!
I use Sealskinz Ultra Grip for wet and winter riding. These now need replacing after about 6 years.
These gloves are used regularly but only for riding. I have 2 horses at home.
I use rubbish Aldi half waterproof ones for mucking out etc.
