Hi all,

Just wondering if you could give me alternatives to the elizabethan collar, think they're called cervical collars? but google not bringing me up much. Thankies xxx

Buster collar is the same as the elizabethan collar/lampshade. I used a rubber ring type collar for Saffy when she freaked out with the elizabethan. i think it was called a comfy collar. Will see if I can find the name.

A few options here. The comfy cone looks interesting and seems to be more suitable than the comfy collar if your dog struggles. Seems a comfier version of the normal buster collar especially if they walk into things with it on.

I did see a great looking new type somewhere but unfortunately can't remember its details, rather like the comfy collar but not inflateable so no risk of it deflating.

Especially when one of your other dogs makes a point to chew the stopper off for the dog with the collar on . An inflatable collar worked really well for us up until that point ...
