Hi everyone,
I am new here although I have read posts from Horse and Hound for years and years!
My mare is very sharp and strong, especially to her fences and had almost 2 months off jumping. I jumped her briefly at the end of April this year and she was super strong.... She ended up splitting the inside of her lip on one side - I was mortified, she has always been this way but this has never been a result of it!
Anyway fast forwards to now, it has healed and split.. Healed and split as it is 'weakened'. Preparation H and Anusol have been fantastic but I am looking to try using Alum Salts, soaked on a snaffle etc. She isn't bothered by it at all but I'd like to heal it...
Has anyone got any experiences with this? Xx
