OK, i suffer from problems when the temperature changes. If it is suddenly warm after a cold spell, i get ill/do not realise the temperature change. thinking it was quite warm today, i've chucked Tia (fully clipped TB) out in the field without a rug. can someone just tell me if it is warm enough to do so cause i feel rather chilly and am starting to worry but cannot actually determine the temperature!

We have two fully clipped hunters out without rugs.

One fully clipped race horse (delivered Friday) out without a rug.

They will all go back on tonight.

Mine is fully clipped and out without a rug, and will be for the foreseeable future unless it rains or drops considerably. I'd worry far more about a horse being too hot than a bit cold.

Donkey is out naked, and everyone is horrified that for the last two nights all she has worn in her stable is a fleece!! With Donkey there is enough padding to keep her warm!! She seemed nice and warm when I turned her out this morning!
