Just wondering if the horse and hound will extend it's welcome to a slightly different newcomer?

I would like everyone to meet Timothy!

He is the newest member of our crazy gang of ex racehorses, pigs, goats, weird chickens, geese and some of the cutest sheep in the world!

Anyone else the proud owner of a donk?

I love him so much it almost hurts! We've had him a for about four weeks now and he's really starting to come out of him shell. He's not interested in other donkeys/ponies/horses but he adores the sheep (I think it's because they're all the same size).

He's 7 months old

Donkeys...aww just made for wasting so much time, cuddling. Timothy is just gorgeous, you lucky thing. :) I used to keep two little boys. The most loving, comical, quirky and positively delightful critters ever. Big fan here. :D regular updates please.

My horse would love a donkey. So would I, but he'd like one more! I'm not sure the other liveries' horses would be too impressed though!

OP, Timothy is gawguss! Gotta love a donk.

Just for interest, these two likely lads popped up on the Bransby Facebook page today, they look like a right couple of characters! They're Dennis and Sergeant Slipper. Probably not for the fainthearted..

(Sorry, can't seem to post a direct link to Bransby's FB page on my iPad.)

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!! I love wonkys :D so so jealous I really want 1 :( they always say you should have 2 though, have you just got the 1?

Thanks for welcoming him so warmly! There are other donkeys, he just prefers the sheep!

I will let you in to a secret.....I think he is a magic donkey!

I have a really good friend, he's been with his partner for over seven years only we've never met her!! He says she's a bit anti-social.

Anyway the other week he was coming down to see us. My Mum mentioned the new addition to him and within ten minutes he's called back to say that they were both coming! Miraculous!

Then there's my Mother. I've had horses all my life and she has always refused to buy me anything horsey for Christmas and Birthdays (I'll never understand why) but this year with the addition of Timothy she actually asked if I would like a proper mobile stable for him as my Christmas Present..........................did I hear that right?!?!?

Magical powers I tell you!!

I have a grey donkey too. He's 11 months and called Olaf. I got him about 6 weeks ago from World Horse Welfare. When he's old enough i will drive him. He's with my 4 other horses and ponies. Timothy is very like Olaf and a real cutie too.

Ahhhhhhh, so cute! What a gorgeous boy! I want him!! :(........Just seen you're also in Derbyshire....Ha, I can come and 'donknap' now!....

But really, what a beautiful boy! :)
