Omg guys I don’t know if I’m been irrational or Unreasonable or not so please let me know... so I live on a private estate on a bridal way with lovely fields and it’s quite. That’s why we live here for the peace.. I get home today and there’s a festival!! Two fields down from my house! No one has notified us of anything, our small Lane is packed of traffic and my baby wouldn’t sleep for two hours because of the ‘thunder’ (base)... I know people really want to spread covid but What the hell! Why has the countryside become the place to go at the moment and why on Earth were we not told!! Feel like walking down there and telling them to turn The music down ?.
Sorry rant over ?

You can report to the police via Facebook messenger too, I used it to report an illegal gathering here, the police responded and took action as it was a covid risk.

Is it people celebrating Eid?

There's a Hindu temple near us and Diwali is very noisy, lots of fireworks.

it’s nothing like that it’s a bunch of people in tents having rave style music. I gave up trying to get through to the 101 last night and it’s just started again ?

I think eid was in may and dewli is normally October or November from what I remember. X

Did the police attend?

After holding for nearly 3 hours I decided to go to bed and try to get some sleep. It’s just started again though so I’m going back on hold and this time I am staying on the line no matter how long it takes! It’s a P take really is. Went round to have a look earlier and it’s a Bunch of dossers in tents with massive speakers!!

The police will act. This news item is very recent.

Devon police break up illegal rave with 200-strong crowd https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-53621858

Over almost five hours Devon and Cornwall Police sent in a number of units to clear the site near Axminster under the Public Order Act.
Sound equipment was confiscated and police dogs were used to break up the party. No arrests have been made.

In UK law, an illegal rave is when 20 or more people are "gathering on land in the open air" with music "that includes sounds wholly or predominantly characterised by the emission of a succession of repetitive beats" - at a level where it is loud enough to cause "serious distress to the inhabitants of the locality".

Leave them alone, they are not on your land, stay inside to stay safe, they want to infect each other, leave them to it

easier said than done when you live in a 600 year old house where you can’t change the windows. They are single glazed and have been rattling. The baby has been so frightened bless him.
