I have bought a beautiful bridle, and my horse looks fantastic in it. The only problem is that it has "fancy" white stitching over the browband and noseband,
( http://stubbendirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=297 ),
so my question to everyone is how do I clean it without ruining the effect of the stitching???

Erm, I wouldn't know, I'm afraid xD One of my mum's nosebands has stitching like that on it though, it's 30 years old but still looks allright, and I think she just cleaned it as normal...

It's a gorgeous cob noseband

It's stunning!!!

I'll check ours tomorrow, but I think the stitching is more pale brown colour now... It doesn't look tatty though, just not so bright! I'd just clean it as normal, perhaps use a bit of cool water on the stitching with a sponge just to get rid of the dirt?

It'll eventually go off colour unless you keep it just for shows. never worry, nothing you can do about it. You can't keep it whiter than white.
