Dear all,

To cut a long story short, had a horse who hurt herself badly, needed 2 years off in the end. Bought new horse to ride while she recuperated, but realistically thinking she would be a paddock ornament, and I would keep her as a companion. She has now come sound.

He was a pain to begin with, have now got him hacking out on his own, and he's fab! Trouble is, I work all the hours god sends and barely have time for one horse, never mind two. I have grudgingly decided to sell him as he has a lot to give, and I could never sell her. At the minute though, he gets all my time and effort and she barely gets a look in.

Am I doing the right thing??

Could you either get a sharer or put one of them out on loan?

I could never part with her, and she will always be my baby  so it would have to be him, but I'm in "rural" as in "very rural" Northumberland so will struggle to find a sharer. Was wondering about the loan thing, but just wondering how many muppets I would have to go through to find the right one!:p
