I put my horse up for sale last Thursday, and I have not recieved a single call or email, I know it's not even been a week but I still expected something!
She's up for a fair price £3400 ono and other horses like her seem to be up for £4000, tbh I'd be happy to take £2900 for her, shall I drop my price on ad?

Mine is up for sale for £1900 put him up couple of weeks ago and heared nothing they don't seem to be selling

If you give us details we will be able to judge if it is a valid price or not.
Age, sex, price, height, temprament, what they have done etc.
Maybe put up a link to your add too - the wording of the add can be a big thing with selling your horse.
You may just have to wait longer for a buyer - 5 days is peanuts in selling horses!

Id say thats not long. It took me about 6 months to sell one of my ponies but then I started advertising him going into winter which is the worst time! Then suddenly about 2 months ago I had heaps of calls about him and he sold really quick. Ive got another one for sale just now and have had plenty of enquiries about him.

I think it totally depends on what you're offering though and also where you're advertising.

Shes on Horsemart and the ad ref. is - HM918PA0D, and CC you want to do on the ad is welcome

I know I am being inpatient but its been a hard decision to sell which will be made harder if it takes ages.

Shelooks nice but if she doesn't hack out alone then maybe a tad pricey if you are wanting a quick sale maybe reduce to £3000 then she will be in the 2000-3000 category

Does she not hack alone at all or is she just a bit more forward going/spooky etc?
Regardless of that I still think she is a tad expensive - if she were mine I would advertise at £3000 ono and accept anything from £2700 upwards.

A friend of mine had a cheapy for sale in Horsemart a couple of weeks ago, apart from one time waster had no enquiries, she then decided to use H & H as it was only £20 for under £3k, she sold it to the first person that came along after seeing it online, it came out in the mag last Thurs!
If you're prepared to accept £2,900 why don't you try that as well?
And no, I don't work for H & H!!

There are people looking, I have had loads of enquiries about my boy. TBH not sure Horsemart is the best place though? I have had most of my enquiries through Horsequest.

I think the not hacking alone obviously will put people off a bit and may mean you have to wait a bit longer for the right person.
