Am I Fair?

£78 a month!!!!!! :O i'm not even on livery and I know thats practically the crumby bits left in the bottum of a bowl of peanuts.....cost us £80 to shoe one pony!!!!
Quite frankly shes basically ripping you off (couldn't think of a better phrase...sorry)

create a breal by break account of her horses weekly/monthly/yearly cost, then show it to her comparing how much of a bargain shes getting

I am another joining the queue to be your sister. definitely sit down with her and explain the costs of keeping a horse and if you cannot sort it out then you need to either pay to keep the mare or tell her that she needs to find somwhere else to keep her which will hopefully make her realise how little she is paying you

What about saying the charges have gone up and if she is unhappy she can move?
Like a livery, and i doubt you have a contract as your related?

that is one option right? or like someone else has said, say that you have someone interested and will be willing to pay a decent amount?

Charmel, seriously with the problems both with your sister and the loan horse for your daughter you need to man up!

THink you are right....people seem to take advantage of good nature...... I have spoken to my sister now I showed her thread....and gave her a breakdown of what everything cost she agreed to set up standing order to my farm account of £80 per month!
