I'm moving in with my partner this month who is just about to move to a new spot with land/stables etc.

I've got my pony coming back from loan and a foal arriving in a couple of weeks.

They'll be living out to begin with until I smarten up the yard/stables etc and I'm having a mental block about what I need to get to prepare for them coming.

- I'll need to order haylage, they won't be having a hard feed at this stage.
- Water buckets for the field
- Poo picking utensils

Is the list really so short?

They'll both be field ponies for at least a month so just need the basics, am I forgetting much?

Fencing is fine, they'll be going in a huge "walled garden" to begin with until they settle, my loan pony is renowned for jumping out!

Foal won't need rugging, he's coming off the Welsh hills unhandled today so want to leave him unrugged for as long as I can really. Loan pony has a wardrobe already so that's okay.

No risk of flooding really I don't think! If the weather gets bad they can be stabled if necessary, their usable but I just wanted to get things straight first!

Both will be wormed yup.

Thanks guys - keep firing questions at me to make sure I've not missed anything vital!
