So dog peed on the new carpet ?

Didn't have any carpet cleaner in so used a bit of washing up liquid for now and figured will clean it properly with carpet cleaner tomorrow.

Then read online you shouldn't use washing up liquid and am freaking out!!

What sort of carpet is it? If it's synthetic its probably fine.

I cleaned my wool one with washing up liquid and it was fine ish...

I'm not sure but I imagine it must be synthetic.

WUL can sometimes bleach, I expect the fairy platinum would. Best to use biological washing liquid or powder if they wee on a rug or carpet as it cleans and also gets rid of the smell, so stops them weeing in the same place.

I use half water, half white vinegar. Fairly safe and effective so far.

You probably would have seen a mark by now ?. Put a bit more water on it if you’re worried, to dilute the WUL?
