Am I going mad, Weatherbeeta TAKA 450grms?

Back in 2006 I worked at WB for a while & before I left I did the sensible thing & rinsed my staff discount :D

I got an Orican 3/4 neck in 360 grms & I thought a TAKA freestyle in 450grms. I hardly ever use this rug as it has a full attached neck but dug it out yesterday as I thought it was heavier than the 400grm Amigo horse is in at the mo. However, can I find the weight of it written anywhere??!! And a google search seems to show all are 360grms?!!

Anyone have an older (2006) TAKA that is 450grm or any clues where I might find the weight? Have checked labels etc :(

Currently they are 360g, there has been an apex and 3 in 1 the last couple of years which have been 400g have never known anything heavier pretty sure its 360g but tougher outer hence different name/range.

My Original Taka (Purple and Black) is 400gm. I think there is 200g in the attached neck?
I bought the Original Taka (Bright Blue) last year when Weatherbeeta bought it back but IMO it's nowhere near as good a rug.
I've had the Purple/Black one 8 years, I think! Bought in brand new with tags for around £75 from memory - one of the best rugs I've ever had. I have a Gold/Black one as a spare!
 
three of ours have half neck mediumweight Takas in silver with black binding. bought them quite a few years ago from equestrian clearance and have tried to find some replacements since but with no luck. They are one of the best rugs I've ever purchased.

I have that one in blue and silver, it's the taka coutour. I may still have the bag so will look at the weekend. It's a lovely warm rug and not very heavy to carry, my tb who lives out has been toasty warm and dry in snow and torrential rain.

I also have an original in black and gold in HW high neck and last year someone on ebay was selling old stock.

I got a 200g high neck one in black silver with a free fleece for £40 :D The HW went for the same and I wish I'd bid on that too because they are my favourite rugs.

That's it criso! Except it's red & silvery (silver/port I think) had a good look at the bag & all I can find is it says 'heavy' :rolleyes:

I guess it's a 400 then :) Gingerface is currently sporting it + a 200grm stable rug as she is fully clipped & it's going to be -5 tonight :eek:
