Am I insured for this?

Hi
A friend of a friend wants to use one of my ponies and my school for her daughter to learn to ride with a qualified instructor. How would things stand on a legal basis (insurance etc) if her daughter were to fall off/injure herself? I am a NPS member so have public liability through that, and the instructor is a BHS gold member and also has freelance instructor insurance. I would not be taking any money for use of school or pony, but obviously instructor will be paid by the other party!
Thanks

If they were to part or full loan the pony (even for nothing but with an agreement in writing) and take up appropriate rider insurance themselves, then I'd think it's no different from anyone else? That would also cover you if your arena is your own private arena as you then wouldn't be hiring it out.
Check with your NPS insurance tho.
