Pretty new to all this, and have been lurking a while - gradually showing my face every now and then....but I am now at a point where I need to know if I am hoping for a miracle?!
Basically, long story cut short, I have a show hunter who I have been doing county and agri shows on for about 7 years, who has now been forced into early retirement so can only do light hacking (I am going to keep him as a big pet, as he is very sentimental combined with being a bit tricky and I am luckily in a position that I can do so!)
I have been looking for a horse on loan, that I can move to my yard, at least 15.2...I haven't been fussy on colour/breeding/experience, just needs to be a gelding really, unless it was a super mare, hack out alone/company, be ok to groom, tack up etc and load and travel well! Not fussed if it isnt county standard, just soemthing that would hold its own at local and happily pop a few jumps! I don't mind slight mental issues or babies, as I am happy to do the schooling and put time into the horse, as well as having the experience. But every horse I seem to find that ticks some boxes has major issues that just put me off! Am I hoping for a miracle in finding this horse or do they actually exist?!
Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong area - just curious to see if I am wishing on a star!
Thanks
